If you don't know an adult's taste, your default setting is blue or turquoise. Maybe not her favorite, but very few people really dislike that color family, and almost everyone has clothes that go with it. Get smaller rather than larger. Someone who likes large earrings will wear small ones too, but someone who prefers small earrings may not be willing to try a large pair. A tween girl with newly pierced ears turned loose in our showroom will usually end up choosing clear dichroic rainbows which change color with changing light.
I'm sorry, there won't be an exact match. If you still have one earring, email a snapshot to me. If not, scribble a drawing. A verbal description isn't much help. I've probably made over 100,000 earrings that could be described as blue with stripes. A picture is worth a thousand words. Sarah and I will look through current and old stock and email pictures if we can find something similar.
If we made the earrings, yes. Just bring them to the shop, or contact us before mailing. A regular jewelry store may not be able to replace our handcrafted wires. If the glass is broken, it can't be reliably and invisibly repaired.
If you have a problem with something we made, we'll repair or replace it. We don't have commercial parts training or appropriate tools to work on commercial jewelry.
No, we have no experience or insurance for piercing.
That varies widely with the style and number of firings required. If I made one pair at a time it would take around six hours, and they'd be much, much more expensive. At any given time, I'm working simultaneously on two or more groups, each at a different stage.
