Stripes are the classic Barbara Mellen earrings recognized from Maine to Florida to Oregon. She has made tens of thousands of variations in ten years working with more than a thousand different glass products. There may be over a dozen pieces of glass fused together in a single tiny earring or only two. the dichroic component may be plain or patterned, located on the back or front or sandwiched in the middle.
